Our Club Championships are officially postponed for now, but for those keen to play – read on.
The tournament organiser encourages you to check the draw and arrange to play any matches (up to finals) over the next few weeks if possible.
A couple of courts will be reserved for Club Champs matches on Saturday 23rd May, for anyone who is keen to play. Please self-organise (and advise Janine).
We intend to open the new season with the Club Championship and Consolation Finals and i8 when the grass-courts re-open in Spring.

Summer League Minor Premiers

Congratulations to our Girls 16U Summer League pennant team.
Ashlee Fardon (C), Darcie Farrow, Elise Steinemann, Georgia Davey, Samara Spadanuda

Whilst there were no finals series, the teams at the top of the ladder have been recognised as the Minor Premiers of the Summer 19/20 League.

MVP’s for the Summer season were also announced and amongst the winners were our own players:
Imogen Cypher: Sunday ANZ Hot Shots 9-12 Mixed Green Ball – Meteor
Matt Heeg: Saturday Men’s Open Div 9

100Club Pays it Forward

Tennis at EFLTC is currently restricted.
There may no more than ten (10) people at the facility at one time.

100Club recognises that for many families, whilst they would love their kids to be playing, the cost of private lessons is difficult to justify. 

EFLTC Responds to the Precinct Master Plan

On 5th February, the Town of East Fremantle released the PPRNRPMP (Preston Point Road North Recreation Precinct Master Plan) CONSULTATION DRAFT and facilitated an open forum on Tuesday 25th Feb at EFYC, which was attended by Paul Hemsley, Janine Ahern, Bill Bell, Brian McDonald and Matt Bull from EFLTC.

Your Board of Management has prepared and delivered Our response on behalf of EFLTC which includes suggestions centred around a vision for EFLTC below.

East Fremantle Town Council have reviewed the latest directive from the State Health Department and have considered guidelines from Tennis West. The decision has been made that we are now able to operate our courts in a strictly limited capacity  FOR MEMBERS ONLY
Only 4 grass courts will be open. Bookings essential, via Janine 0466 723 022

Adult Membership is available for just $100 (through to 31st August).

100Club Pro-Am

Our first 100Club Pro-Am was held on Saturday 15th February to celebrate our generous 100Club Members (sponsors) and 100Club Althetes.
High-quality tennis, and few good laughs, were enjoyed by all.
The high skill levels of our talented junior athletes were particularly evident when they wielded the old vintage wooden racquets like old pros. Small sweetspots were no match for their impressive hand-eye coordination.

EFLTC Most Outstanding Large Club Award

Graeme Smith (our President) proudly accepted the award at the WA Tennis Industry Awards night at Optus Stadium on 12th October 2019.
